"Clean and compact, but if you're looking for a peaceful stay, then this accomodation isn't for you. It's on a busy road and the windows are single glazed so you can hear everything. Traffic and general town centre noise until midnight, then the lorries speeding down the road in early hours, street cleaning at 6am which is about when the traffic picks up again. The bed was also only a small double (not king-size) so we barely slept the 2 nights we were there. On the plus side, it's conveniently located in centre of town, the shower was good, toothbrush charger was a bonus, plugs and light switches by the bed, and enough tea and coffee to keep us going. There were also clear instructions from the owner so we were able to access the room without any issues."

"Clean and comfortable room with a view of the park. Had to put the kettle on the floor to plug it in as it was the only available socket. Good choice for breakfast. Had to go and ask for tea and coffee at breakfast as the 2 staff on duty were busy tidying up and refilling the breakfast buffet. Sign at restaurant entrance said please wait to be seated - there was no-one around to do this so just went in. "

"In the main the stay was good but we were very disappointed with the room we were offered. This room faced directly onto the pool which was being used from 7.00 am each morning hence we were woken earlier than planned. The noise of the pumps were also an unwelcome distraction while trying to sleep - disappointing when we thought the rest of the hotel was good."

"We had a fantastic stay, the host was super and informative. The room was large and bright with a huge compfy bed. We had an excellent nights sleep. Breakfast was mammoth and really tasty. It’s a short walk into town so really well located too. We will definitely be back! "

"The property was perfect in every way, very spacious and well equipped with amazing views from the terrace . The property is very rural but not far from attractions and plenty of pubs/restaurants within a 10 minute drive. Jo the host was very welcoming and informative. A bonus was there is an EV charger at the property. We would highly recommend the property."

"The hotel.was ideally situated to explore Buxton. The area where the hotel was is lovely and quiet. The hotel itself is clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We only stayed for 1 night which usually means you get a small room but the room was a good size. The floorboards outside in the corridors are very creaky which kept us awake at times and had we stayed longer it would have disturbed our sleep but other than that I would definitely stay here again."
