About this property

The Old Stables Buxton - Gateway to the Peak District

  • The Old Stables is centrally located, minutes from Buxton's Pavilion Gardens, Opera House, Poole's Cavern, and town centre. It's characterful, ideal for families and large friend groups. Being in the Peak District, enjoy doorstep walks and cycle rides, or brave Go Ape! Plus explore places from Alton Towers to Chatsworth House—something for everyone!
It's a great space for groups - whether that's a walking group, two families holidaying together, or a family going away with grandparents. There are two sitting areas, plus 3 bathrooms (two upstairs with bath/shower as well as a wet room downstairs).
The kitchen, second sitting room and dining area are unique - the property makes use of the old horse stalls! It's lots of fun!
There's no garden, but there is a cute terrace (with table and chairs), plus the Pavilion Gardens is just a few minutes' walk away - with playground, miniature train and plenty of room for scooters! Not to mention cafes, icecreams and feeding ducks!
