"Hotel is in amazing Peak District area. Located above the pub but we wasnt bothered about any noice. Room and amenities are a bit dated but its comfy and pleasant. Its great for the location."

"Very clean, well equipped and comfortable for a group of five friends. Appreciated the en-suite bathrooms for each bedroom, and the patio. Only 10 mins walk from the village centre with well-stocked Spar and good pubs (recommend to book in advance, takeaway from Curry Cabin also very good)."
"A well decorated, comfortable cottage in Hope village and we enjoyed our stay.
We had some difficulties with communication initially though that appears down to Hotels.com as opposed to the host. I ended up making contact on an alternative rental platform and from then on the host was quick to respond to my messages. There is no welcome book in the cottage so there was no indication as how to leave the property or where to put recycling etc which would have been helpful. Having both a bath mat and hand soap in each bathroom would also have been useful. There was also no tea bags or instant coffee in the property. I had assumed this was the norm as I have never not had it supplied before, especially given it wasn’t a cheap listing, but that could be solved the following day when the shops were open. "
