"Beautiful cottage with quality furniture, bedding, fixtures and fittings. Host was very welcoming and informative. Excellent location within a few minutes walk of the local pub and an extra few mins further into Hope village. Great off street parking, bike storage and lovely outdoor seating area. Would highly recommend and hope to return soon!"

"We had a great weekend at the Cheshire Cheese, the bed was clean and comfy and the bathroom was spacious with clean crisp towels that were of ample size. Tbh, the room could do with a deep clean as there was a fair bit of dust visible behind cupboards etc . The decor is a bit dated, but its great value for money . The staff are friendly and helpful, the food and beer is great and good value Oh and the breakfast is fantastic We've stopped here before, and we'll be back again. It's a great pub"
A fabulously quiet paradise situated on a working farm Castleton

"The location of Riding House Farm was perfect for us. Quiet, very peaceful and with panoramic views of the Dales from our windows. We love to walk and the mountains were close by providing the challenges we like.Our Hosts were very helpful and friendly. We had 2 Border Collies with us who fortunately are very good with livestock as there were sheep with lambs and sheep about to have lambs. Normally only one dog is allowed so we were relieved to be able to have our 2 inseparable Collies with us.Our cottage was extremely comfortable ,warm and very well equipped.We will not hesitate to recommend this lovely place and will be very happy to return one day."

"What a find this place was. It had exactly what we needed. 10 minute walk to all local pubs and other amenities also the local caves. You can park your car and not use it if you want although we went by car to Edale, Bakewell and Buxton and took in the stunning views on the way. The cottage had everything that we needed with the comfiest bed possible and super shower. Nice large telly and WiFi made for some cosy nights in. Not ideal for older guests due to the spiral staircase. Our first time to the Peak District and would definitely go back. Looking at booking the Mullions next door with friends in the near future. We went in January so it was quiet and a few places were closed but this is just what we had wanted from this break."
