Top Camel Valley Vineyard Hotel Reviews
Bodmin Jail Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Amazing setting and beautifully kitted out rooms. Breakfast was lovely (though buffet elements could have been topped up as we went in the last half hour so some things were running low, including plates!). Loved the bar - fab cocktails - and the restaurant, though was very pricey."
Keepers Cottage - sleeps 2 adults, 2 children and your dogs
8/10 Good
"Great check in experience, I assumed it would be open and whilst on route had a message to say it would be open. Wasn’t find, well signposted. Perfect size for myself and two kids, bedrooms downstairs which made for ease when bringing bags in and out. Had a wet day at the beach and the wood burner was very welcome to come home to!Only downside was the working farm making an early alarm call, but made up for it in the very reasonably priced accommodation in a beautiful part of the county. Designated dog walking area with bin too."
Trehellas House Hotel and Courthouse Restaurant
10/10 Excellent
"Enjoyed the stay ,outside room which I prefer overall a great stay"
Romantic Rural Retreat, Ideal Base to Explore Cornwall
10/10 Excellent
"Wow, what a wonderful find. Such a gorgeous cottage. Beautifully set out with a double bed and ensuite. Very spacious. Quiet location. Excellent kitchen facilities with a dishwasher and tablets provided. Washing machine a plus. Just bring your own wash powder. We had an EV car and were able to charge (additional fee) but very fairly priced and convenient. Each beach we drove to was about 25 minutes away 12 miles. We cycled the camel trail. We can Highly recommend this accommodation. Communication with owners was via email and WhatsApp."
Peaceful Rural Retreat, Ideal Base To Explore Cornwall
10/10 Excellent
"Delightful accommodation in a quiet and peaceful setting. Plenty to entertain round and about with many places of interest both on the coast and inland easily accessible but a huge selection of books and DVDs were provided for indoor amusement too. The thoughtful provision of fresh milk for tea on arrival was much appreciated, as were the scones and clotted cream."
The Bailiff's House - Perfect for multiple dogs and their family.
10/10 Excellent
"Very nice and quiet place"
Grooms Cottage- Sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms plus 2 to 4 dogs depending on size.
8/10 Good
"Overall, we had a good stay and the property was a great base for exploring the area. The property could do with a little TLC in places, and the standard of cleaning could be improved, as there were quite a few cobwebs with dead flys spiders and dust. grubby in areas. Could do with a good thorough clean. One issue we experienced was the number of flies, particularly at meal times. There is a horse stable directly behind the property, so whenever the windows or doors were open, flies quickly became a problem. We ended up buying fly sticky catches. So could do with a uv electric zapper.Despite these points, we enjoyed our stay and found it to be a convenient base for our stay."
Idyllic country retreat, ideal base to explore Cornwall
8/10 Good
"This property is situated in an isolated peaceful environment. we enjoyed sitting out in the evening watching the young swifts and swallows practicing aerobatics. The cottage was neat tidy and easy to keep clean . The hosts introduced themselves and were there if needed but were not intrusive.luxury to have two bathrooms in this size property, it was very useful.there are no shops close to the village but Wadebridge proved the best for supermarket. You would need to travel for a pub meal, restaurant, or drinks .Easy to self cater in the property. The property was family friendly with games available, safety gates at top and bottom of stairs. The wood burner may need a guard if it was winter time."
Ground Floor Bodmin Retreat Free Parking
10/10 Excellent
"Very happy to have off street parking. Bus stop just outside property so chose to do bus trip to Padstow - this bus goes to Bodmin Parkway should you choose to travel by train to Bodmin. Nice and spacious to spread ourselves out. A few great pubs and main High St walking distance. Would stay again."
