"I give this place a 8/10- The rooms were clean, the host was easy to get in contact with. It is kids - friendly. The only complaint we have is about the place .Some of the pots , the coating was scratched off made it scary to cook food in them because of chemicals release. The furnitures in the screened in area needs cleaning it was very dirty. That area looks neglected, there are a few loose boards on the patio. The dock is awesome big, lots of room to fish and crab. The only complaint is that we couldn’t use the fish cleaning station, it was gross with previous cleanings, it wasn’t assembled . It would be nice to have it assembled so people can at least wash their hands while handling bait etc. please put a seat out there for people to sit, especially kids. You have to stand the entire time. We had fun, caught a few fish."

"We had the best time fishing and crabbing in Hackberry! This house was perfect right on the water my boys were fishing early in morning until late in evening! They caught flounder, red fish, cat fish, trout and even saw a gar. We are already making plans to rent this place again next year!"
