"Wow….owners are more than amazing. So many little details to make us feel welcome. Snacks and other food provided (seasonings and condiments), firewood, use of fishing rods and watercraft, nice pier, new sturdy railing to use to access water area, herb garden, full propane tank for grilling, cold beverages waiting upon arrival, ice cubes made. Cute house, very cozy. Heat and air conditioning available. Communication was outstanding, timely, accurate, and second to none. We felt safe and cozy the entire visit. Many nearby places to eat and replenish food/personal items if needed. Very peaceful area. Views are great. Home is very comfortable. Love that they allowed our Schnauzer Angie to tag along and enjoy time with us. Thank you for an amazing getaway."

"We enjoyed our last minute 2-night stay at this cottage! You can tell it is well cared for, and they use the space well. We appreciated that there were 3 bedrooms for our family. We enjoyed fishing from the dock, using the pedal boat, and playing with the friendly neighborhood cat who we named Ginger. We went to Mauthe Lake for a beach afternoon, Hamburger Haus for ice cream, and 3 Sweets Bakery for scones in the morning."

The host is as very kind and easy to communicate with. I love how warm it felt and how many thoughtful amenities were included. Again, so refreshing compared to many other places we’ve rented!"
