"Every staff member we encountered, from the front desk to the maintenance personnel, was friendly and helpful. If people make the place, especially in these more corporate-style hotels, then the lovely people at this Fairfield are the hotel's greatest asset. The room we had was very clean and comfortable, and everything looked well-maintained. My only minor gripes are: first, the little pull-lever on the bathtub nozzle that turns the shower on was wonky, so half the water went down the drain, leaving the shower underpowered. Being from California, we're extremely conscious about wasting water, so hope that gets resolved. Second, the flashing green light in the ceiling fire alarm, while unobtrusive during the day, creates a nonstop laser light show in the dark. If you're a light sleeper like me, bring an eye mask for sleeping. Additionally, the hotel is freeway-adjacent, so earplugs might be helpful, too. They sure were for me. The Fairfield is a clean, well-maintained facility with an exceptionally nice staff. Since we only stayed for one night, we took advantage of the breakfast, but not the pool, exercise room, laundry, or other amenities. However, they all looked clean and well-maintained as well. You'll have to drive to find places to eat or hike, but the Fairfield is a great one or two-night place to stay in you're north of Milwaukee."

"Economical and close to Milwaukee and Northern Kettle Moraine State Forest. The Crave restaurant connected to motel property has very good food and creative menu along with a great "Wisconsin" bar; great Friday Fish Fry. The outdoor patio of the motel provides a relaxing area to sit and socialize."

"Staff very accommodating. Enjoyed the outdoor area to eat/drink and pol was good. Rooms large and comfortable. Property a bit old and some areas a little dated but other areas updated. A little bit of highway noise in rooms."
