"We spent 3 nights in a really large nice apartment suite with a balcony. We were next to the pool but it was quiet with a nice view of the lake and Monte Bre. The hotel overall is a bit tired and in need of fresh paint, but the grounds were very clean. We loved the pool for a cool break from the heat and crowds of Lugano. Its a trek to find restaurants, even with the bus stop. We found good dinners 12-15 minutes uphill or downhill and skipped dinner the last night. The staff were very friendly and attentive."

"Restated at 5 different hotels during our Italy vacation. The Palace was my favorite of the 5 in all categories. Wonderful rooms, inviting staff & fantastic food. If I ever make it back to Lake Como I have no doubt where I will stay!"
