"The bathroom fan, which was also the light, sounded like a motorcycle chopper. The floor above sounded like someone was going to fall through the ceiling. The bed was comfortable but the sheets were rough. The breakfast was pretty much non existent. We were pretty disappointed."

"Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The outside of the house is okay, especially in the winter, but the inside really shines. Its modern and freshly appointed. One of the first things you'll notice approaching the house is that as you drive up the steep hill there's a sign that says to watch for ice. We drive a Chevy Traverse and make multiple trips to West VA to go skiing per year and had never gotten stuck until this trip. We couldn't get up the hill the second day and had to park at the bottom and walk up. There should be a notice that you may need 4x4 to access house. Also, there's a ton of flies in the house. Didn't expect a bunch of dead flies in the windowsills in the middle of winter. The grill's propane tank was also empty. Outside of those items, the inside is very nice and we enjoyed our time there."

"My grandson and I stayed here over President's Day weekend. Although the condo unit is a bit worn, it worked persfectly for us. The unit has two bedrooms, a full bath and a great room with a full kitchen, and dining area (see photo) and a living area with with a fire place and entertainment unit. It is very conveniently located - a 5 to 10 minute drive to the Timberline downhill ski resort and the White Grass cross country ski area. The owner was very personable and easy to deal with. "

"It was a great stay, the house is very clean and wonderful access to Canaan Valley skiing. The view of the slopes is priceless. We also loved having the garage to load and unload in the cold. My only complaint is the bunk bedroom could have better beds. The white bed especially is very flimsy and you can feel the metal bars through the mattresses. These beds are certainly for young children and not teenagers/ adults. Our stay was wonderful and we would certainly rent again. "

"This property worked great for us- a group of 7 and a dog. All bedrooms are nice (king bed, private bathroom except one be with own bathroom outside of the room); great hang out areas (main LV, loft has a cozy reading/work space, and basement has a large screen tv and play area). This house works really well for big groups- and is stocked really well with cookware, cutlery and ceramic dishes. Location is excellent. We would go back in a heart beat! Also, the property management was exceptionally responsive to any of the very minor needs we had while we were there. 5 Only suggestion would be to upgrade tv in main living room for easier streaming options"
