"Advertised as a hotel (not Pontins) with an address that didn't match the booking one and lacking many of the basics you'd have in in anything resembling a hotel. One of the worst properties I've stayed in over 4 decades. A generally stand off ish and hostile undertone from the staffing on arrival, several serious defects and no warning about the bedding or towel shortfalls (unless you are one of their loyal customers who tolerate more than they should be expected to). "Staff were welcoming and friendly. Very helpful and kind. We enjoyed our stay. Susie was especially helpful and knowledgeable. The room was clean and comfortable. Facilities were excellent. Lovely area. Handy to catch bus into town. We lived Canterbury and had an amazing tour of the cathedral. "
