"Turi is an incredibly beautiful and peaceful city with lots of good restaurants, and we enjoyed our one night stay in the luxurious apartment, followed by a complimentary breakfast in a nearby cafe. "Looking at the pictures, we got the impression that this was a foodie place. That was not the case. Only cookies for breakfast was disappointing. Location is far from everything."

The communication of this was poor. Rosella was prompt to help us and explian we had booked apartment accommodation but Expedia image incorrect. "the first thing that stuck us was how out of town this type of accommodation is. That applies to all Masseria hotels. The rooms are situated around a pretty courtyard. The rooms are basic and of reasonable size. There are no facilities for making tea/coffee. However, there is a fridge. A small sitting area is outside each room. There is no bar here and the restaurant does not open till 8 pm. the reception can provide wine or coffee. We bought our own beer and kept in in fridge in room....
