The ability to book the houses next door also seems like a great chance to get together with family. "David was an amazing host and incredibly accommodating, especially after we had dealt with a terrible experience at another rental. Stella Maris was a welcoming, cozy place that truly felt like a home rather than just another vacation rental. It had everything we needed, and we were so thankful to have found it!The beach was just steps from the door, the rooms were clean and well stocked with extra towels and linens, and the bathrooms were beautifully updated with rain showers and great water pressure. Our only minor complaint was that there weren’t enough utensils for our large group.I appreciated the host's responsiveness throughout our stay as he was quick to answer our random questions. Overall, a wonderful stay, and we’d happily recommend Stella Maris to others!"

"We come to Bolivar every year so we know what to expect from a beach house. This one has been our favorite. It has a great view and a shady, comfortable spot to sit all day long. More shade than any other house we have rented. Inside is comfortable and well appointed. There were millions of towels, plenty of blankets. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. I hope it is available for next year."
