"We booked for a family reunion and had a wonderful time at the island. Perfect weather, beaches, views, nature.We saw eagles, hawks, porpoises, stingray and sharks. Some turtles and of course the manatees. The house exceeded our expectations and had all the comforts that we expected.It also provided amazing views of the water and we were lucky to see a couple of eagles building a nest on a neighbor's house during our stay.Communication with Lacey and Shally's was quick and on point. Golf carts are a must and make a fun trip to the beach or bars. Pool was heated and was a hit with the kids and grandma late in the day."

We absolutely love the Serenity pool area and enjoyed a spectacular sunset from the Crows Nest bar followed by a top notch dinner at the Old Captiva House. Shelby was a charming waitperson. "We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home in North Captiva! From the beginning, communication with the hosts was super clear, friendly, and full of empathy. they truly cared about making our stay perfect. The house is in a fantastic location and has absolutely everything you need for a wonderful family vacation. The pool was amazing, the rooms were spacious and spotless. We found everything we needed and felt right at home. If I ever come back to the island, I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended! Thank you for everything "

"If you want to be close to the water and beach, hear the waves, enjoy the sunset, this is place to stay on North Captiva! No other place is closer, or has a better view. Big on the Beach is it! Thanks to Bob and Wendy the place was ready for occupancy. They picked us up at the docks, carted our luggage to the house, and gave us a comprehensive orientation of all this spectacular house has to offer. When our week was up, Bob and Wendy were again there to help. Thank you! The house was immaculate and well suited for super large groups like our own. It offered plenty of beds and convenient bathrooms for all of us. And the kitchen is well equipped for fixing large meals or casual snacks for large groups. Much thanks to Bob and Wendy for making this a pleasant family vacation, and to Stephanie (the owner) for sharing her wonderful house and spectacular location with us. We love Big on the Beach!"

"All was gorgeous!! everything great. one thing that was a bit of an inconvenience was the fact that there was not a washer and dryer in the room just a pay to use in the underneath area. But we knew that going in so all good! "
