The hot tub was cleaned twice while we were there. The windows were also done so the maintenance on this house is well taken care of. We would love to stay again"

"Very happy with the hotel.It is situated close the harbour so the views from the bar and dining room are good,it is only a ten minute walk to the town centre.The food is very good no self service at breakfast you are served at the table.The staff are excellent "

"Bedroom looked out onto a side street but there was still a good view of the sea from there. Bed was comfortable - very hot though - although I did stay during a very hot week! Bedroom was clean & tidy and included an ensuite bath and shower. Unsure how to turn on light attached to the wall by the telly (could not find mains or light switch) and one of the bedside lamps was not working. This were my only issues though. Staff were really friendly, kind & professional. They agreed to look after my luggage prior to check-in - really appreciated this as was traveling by public transport and it can be hard lugging it around everywhere. They even topped up my water bottle before I left. Had Eggs Florentine for breakfast which was cooked to perfection and was delicious! There were a range of hot breakfasts available along with cereals, toast, fruit salad, teas, coffee, fruit juice, etc."

"Room view is excellent but room 301 is so hot that I found difficult to fall asleep. It is better if I cant open the window wider and let cool and fresh air into the room to decrease the room tempereture and increase the comfort of residents."

"Lovely hotel, we were upgraded to the Shearwater with a hot tub ! Beautiful views over the coast. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was very good, freshly cooked and delicious. Our waiter was friendly & efficient. Highly recommended. "

"An unforgettable stay, made even more special by the wonderful people at Headland House! Waking up each morning to the stunning view of Carbis Bay from such an elegant room would be reason enough to recommend this place—but then comes breakfast. The spread is nothing short of a holiday feast: beautifully prepared, delicious, and served with care. St Ives itself is charming (though do take the seagull warnings seriously—one nearly claimed my flapjack, and possibly a finger!), and while we had a slightly disappointing experience with the service at the Beach Club, everything else was delightful. If it’s even possible to enhance the magic of St Ives, Headland House and its delightful hosts are what does it. They are truly the main reasons we’re already hoping to return."
