"The cottage is exactly as described, very comfortable and well-equipped. The welcome basket of "goodies" was a nice touch. The location is really spectacular - right on the cliff top overlooking the sea, remote but still within walking distance of the village. I was a little concerned about the drive along the muddy track to the cottage, but even I managed it in our little Hyundai i30!"

"Lovely property in quiet creek side location. Heating was on when we arrived which made it more welcoming on a November day. Milk and a bottle of wine was a great touch. Comfortable home from home experience. Amenities on the doorstep - shop & pub. We were a little unlucky with two storms barrelling in in short succession but the cottage was comfortable enough to stay in and relax in."

"We enjoyed our stay. The property was ideal for the two of us and two dogs. The location is very peaceful. Only downside was the the pub had lost its chef so there was nowhere to eat out within reasonable walking distance. They were working on that so hopefully not an issue for future bookings."

"We enjoyed staying at Primrose - very clean and plenty of space for us. The wood burner is fab - makes the place very cosy and also were pleased to be able to store bikes in the shed which was lockable. Definitely looking to return in the summer if available !"

"Island House is perfectly located in the centre of Porthleven. Very comfortable and nicely decorated. It was an ideal base for a walking holiday. Excellent restaurants, pubs and a micro-brewery within walking distance. Will certainly return and would highly recommend to others. The host, James, could not have been more helpful."

"What a lovely cottage! The decor was superb and very tastefully done. We were a party of 4 adults and there was plenty of room for all with no one getting under each other's feet. The property is located at the top of a very quiet street, with the walk into Porthleven not taking longer than 10 minutes, therefore ideally situated. The decor was beautiful and the cottage very comfortable and clean. We all slept extremely well! Will, the Host, had thought of everything to ensure we had a great stay...

"The only issue was parking; there’s ample room for two cars but getting in and out was tight, required reverse parking, and the entrance lane is very narrow, in poor condition and extremely steep. Otherwise, we loved the house in every way; a true home from home with everything you could require. It was warm, spacious, quaint, quiet, and the beds were very comfortable. My two daughters, two grandsons and I loved it. We cooked all our meals together and everything we needed was there; I can’t...

"Very spacious, clean, comfortable. It had everything I could need. Just outside St Keverne it was peaceful and quiet with two horses in the adjoining field. My hosts were very friendly and chatty and gave me lots of information about the local area."

"I wish I could have stayed at this magical property for more than two nights. The cottage was so cosy and welcoming, and the grounds were beyond beautiful with changing foliage, roses and birdsong. The owners were so sweet and welcoming, and I loved how the property felt so isolated and private, but many amenities such as grocery stores and towns were nearby. I love Cornwall so much! "The property was just as listed. Everything was in very good condition and really clean. We were left some firewood and kindling too which was really appreciated as it was quite chilly when we went! The central heating was great and the wood burner added the extra warmth for cosiness. The garden was lovely and parking was really convenient. Easy to find the property and we had a great stay."
