Hopefully I’ll be back in early spring with the family. I loved the fact that check in was 2:pm which gives you more time to enjoy the hotel. The hotel is a little isolated but not a million miles from nowhere, so having a vehicle is important to explore the area. I wished I had stayed longer.

Breakfast was a bit chaotic, the member of staff running it seemed a bit over busy...? Overall The New Inn hit the spot for a convenient overnight stay. It was good value and the smiling staff made it a very pleasant stay.

Staff are wonderful - very friendly, attentive, and professional. I've seen lots of other reviews saying the same. Room was very pleasant, clean, and spacious. Just looks a little dated, as does the whole building. Breakfast was a good experience, with plenty of options in the continental buffet (cereals, fruit, pastries etc.) and decent cooked food. Overall a little expensive for what it is, but perfect for night's stay while working nearby. Staff were great, room and breakfast were also good.

Nice and simple. Room was simple with a kettle and Yorkshire tea available. Bathroom was spacious and the water was a good pressure and hot! The bed is firm so was good for the 2 nights. I prefer more support but that’s personal taste for you.

Convenient location

Easy checkin. Room looked clean apart from stains on the carpet. Daily room service & fresh towels. Convenient location for us. Would stay again. We were told breakfast was served from 8 - 10am. However on the morning we decided to take breakfast, the cereals, tea,coffee etc were cleared away by 9.30. The cooked breakfast was good but would have liked another drink after it!
