"Great location with restaurants of all cuisines and price points within an easy walk. The room was a good size and the breakfast option proved very convenient. Very helpful staff organised our day trip to St Tropez and had many other suggestions for things to do in the city."

"Very well located by the "Promenade", as well as the Place Massena/soppinng district and Old Town, all of which within walking distance, this big property is convenient. The rooms are comfortable, but as the hotel in general, they are a little outdated, and would need some kind of modernization. The rooftop has superb views, but again would need some renovation (showers, access, bar etc). The gym is small and under-equipped. The spa was closed when I stayed there... It is overall a good place to stay on a short family or business trip, especially for its location."

There were two instances when walking back into the hotel after a day out that staff members approached and asked me what I was doing there and where I was going. When I stated that I was a guest of the hotel they looked surprised. I guess I don’t look rich enough"

That said, the hotel makes up for it with genuinely friendly and helpful staff who go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. The breakfast is surprisingly good in fact, noticeably better than what many places in the USA offer at a similar level. The location is another advantage, everything you might need is within walking distance, making it easy to explore the area without relying on transportation. Overall, despite the compact room sizes, the service, breakfast quality, and excellent location make this a solid choice."
