I had a very nice stay at the Open Arms Hotel. The staff were very welcoming and made me feel at home. The room was first class with a view over the village green and very comfortable.
The lounge area with the open fire is lovely and relaxing being able to have a pre- dinner drink and review the menu.
It was a very enjoyable stay and will definitely be returning again in the very near future.

The hotel was reasonably priced and was relatively close to the Royal Mile. Staff were friendly and helpful. The one thing that did bother me was that their coffee maker had been broken for some time and they didn't appear to be in any hurry to fix it.

"The location is right next door to the zoo, so is perfect, there are bus stops just outside as well so can get into the city centre via public transport with ease. The view is spectacular.
