"Definitely with out a doubt the most beautiful hotel we have ever stayed in! views are incredible, private beach and lovely pool area! Hotel room was 10/10 and very spacious, free transport to and from the hotel to the town, not a bad thing to say thank you!! "

"Excellent place to stay in Taormina.. it was very modern like Miami Vice. It was across the street about 100ft away from the main building. I only wished we would have stayed in the old hotel which looked much cooler.. we parked up the street for €25 a day saved us €20 a day.. don’t forget to stop at the coop, which is the grocery store. Will also save you a ton of money.. next door is a laundromat, which was perfect. Just watch out and ask for the price first before doing your laundry.. The balcony was also really nice"

"We absolutely loved our stay at Splendid and were sad to leave our beautiful room and the amazingly kind and helpful staff. Ivana was especially helpful, but we enjoyed everyone. When my fiancé required medical attention, they called a doctor for him. The room was small but lovely, especially the balcony with the gorgeous view! The location was great. We can’t wait to return. "Air conditioning was very dated and seemed pretty weak- and it wasn’t that hot when we stayed there in early October. Also TVs were small for room size and the streaming services didn’t really work effectively because of limitations of the WiFi system. "Property was wonderful - was hoping for a heated pool, but no, so no swimming. Staff and our room were great. The only thing that could use some attention are the bathrooms/showers in the lobby and there wasn’t a secure room to store luggage after checkout. "

"The hotel/agriturismo was situated at the base of Mount Etna - we had spectacular views of the volcano and the sea. The pool was beautiful and well maintained. Food was excellent and staff very helpful. It was a short drive to Taoromina. Only complaint was the 7:30am wake-up call from the helicopter outside."
