Thet nearest supermarket is not a 10 mins drive, but a 4 minutes drive, (2,2 km) from the house.

Your comment regarding the swimming pool is incredibly surprising. The pool is cleaned daily by the community gardeners, and is staffed from opening to closing time to ensure it remains clean and maintained in its pristine condition. We have been renting this property for over 5 years and no one has ever complained about the pool being dirty. In fact, my property manager, who also lives on site, uses the pool throughout the summer and we would certainly know if there were issues with cleanliness. Bahia de Casares swimming pool is probably one of the most tranquil, clean, beautifully designed pool in the area of Casares.
On noise: the Uurbanizacion Bahía de Casares is one of the few locations at walking distance to the beachfront. The infrastructure of the coastline, from Malaga to Gibraltar , is made in such a way that there is always going to be a road, the N-340 running between the beach and the residential areas. This road is unavoidable if you wish to rent a property near the coast.
Bahia de Casares is actually perched on a rock 300 feet above the bay of Casares, so not directly above the road as you suggest and has a series of gardens before getting to sea levels.
Moreover you fail to mention that the house is completely insulated against noise with double glazing throughout, the noise cannot be heard from the bedrooms, or the living room areas.
Not only has the “upstairs” been refurbished. The entire house has been redecorated, painted, with two completely new bathrooms, and a completely newly designed main bedroom. The linen is carefully checked and replaced as and when required, it is in perfect condition. Brand new bath towels were purchased ahead of your arrival. Let me also point out that the investment made in the refurbishment of the property would not go without ensuring that the linen provided reflects the quality of the rest of the property.
Regarding the plastic plants: There is one plastic plant in the living room, and a few decorative plants in the bedroom. The house is primarily designed for rentals, the use of plastic plants allows for some green notes without requiring daily watering, or requesting watering from our guests. It is sad however that you should fail to mention the incredibly lush garden ( with real plants) consisting of Bougainvillea, Honeysuckles, Bird of Paradise, Hibiscus, Palms, Ficus, to name a few, overlooking the incredible view over the bay of Casares and the Mediterranean.
Anyone who has spent time in Spain would know that with high temperatures for at least 9 months of the year, real grass burns and does not survive without daily watering, which is completely unecological.
As for the “cheap decoration” I am sorry that the Maison du Monde decoration was not to your taste. My recommendation would be to ensure you look at the pictures prior to reserving a property to ensure it matches your tastes and expectations.
The kitchen is built according to the size of the property, with plenty of storage and work space. And again is as described on our page. if you desire a larger space, once again, I recommend you pick the property to reflect your requirements in the future.
On the subject of not going the extra mile:
We have been in contact with you on several occasions for the period of 5 months prior to your arrival to obtain information from you regarding the extra cleaning, and the movement of guests arriving and leaving during the rental. You have failed to provide us with a schedule, although were asked several times.
You eventually approved the cleaning schedule we provided; This schedule we honored as per your approval, yet on one occasion you tried to get our cleaning team to do additional cleaning without prior agreement.
We have asked you to liaise with us to confirm your arrival details so that we could arrange a check in time, at least 24 hours prior to arrival. Something you failed to provide. You were told that check in was from 16.00. You did not provide your arrival details 24hours in advance, and called our team only 1 hour prior to arrival, just after midday. We still have accommodated your early check in.
When an issue arose with the water not evacuating fast enough in the bathroom, we responded straight away to arrange a plumber to visit the property the following day. You refused access twice. You also refused access on the basis that you did not trust our team, that things may go missing. Let me reassure you that we have been renting the property for many years, with repeat clients. It is not in our interest to steal our guests' belongings. We have offered on several occasions to arrange a plumber in the presence of the property manager, and at times convenient so as not to impact on your holiday. You have done nothing other than complain, but did not allow us to carry out repairs, until you gave us one day notice that you were going away for a few days, and eventually granted us access to the property.
With regards to house rules: When my team came to the house to address the water evacuation, they found the property with windows open, and shutters to the terrace open. Contravening to the security of the property.
Following you ongoing complaints, I felt that with such level of dissatisfaction, I must say, unseen in the years of rental in our lovely house, I proposed to you very cordially that if the house and the service were not to your liking, we would be willing to reimburse you for part of your vacation, should you wish to find a more suitable property. Something we are not obliged to do. This was on one condition: that you give us one week's notice and that you did not leave during the last week. You gave us 3 days' notice and you left during the last week.
I also have to point out that we did not charge you for the stains you have left in the brandnew bathroom worktop, which we had to have repainted.
Sir, please let me reassure you that my property has been rented with renewed contracts with groups, and agencies, and have had many repeat clients, and never had such a level of unjustified complaints. This property is also my home, which I truly care for and maintain on a yearly basis. We receive 5 star reviews for cleanliness, communication, location, hence our diary being full and the property being in such high demand.
We are always willing to take on comments, constructive ones, from our guests to improve. But your comments are unfounded, and do not reflect the quality of the property and the service offered.
