"Our stay was amazing. The location was beautiful and easy for us to explore the surrounding area with ease. The house was beautiful, very clean and our host was most gracious. Upon arrival we had made a passing comment on how beautiful the patio terrace was and how a fire pit would be a nice touch so that we could enjoy it longer into the cool night. After the dinner our host organized for us at a local restaurant we returned to having a fire pit and wood on the patio. They went above and beyond...

We made meals at the house that were just awesome and fun to do. Brick oven was a highlight. Valerio made us feel welcome and like family. Made many improvements over this last off season. The view on top of the mount was breathtaking. The owners, Antonio and Silvia are unquestionably the finest, dearest owners we have ever met. "We absolutely loved our stay for a group of friends for a big birthday. the bedrooms were large and all perfect except the weird one with the twin beds. we added an amenity by adding a catered chef dinner one evening and it was 100% worth it - the meal and staff were amazing. great communication during check in and check out via whatsapp . wifi worked great. only issue was transportation - this home is not near the train station and there are not cars available in Certaldo . "We had a fantastic stay, the house has so much character and charm, and we really felt at home. We enjoyed cooking in the well equipped kitchen, chilling out in the lovely pool, which has the most amazing views of the Tuscan countryside, and using the house as a base for fantastic day trips to towns like Volterra, Sienna or Lucca. "Nice quiet spot in the woods but very close to San Gimignano. Very clean. Comfortable beds. They don’t provide towels or soaps, but that is clear up front. You can rent towels if you want and they sell soap/ shampoo in the office. "
