Castellammare di Stabia 2022 Holidays

Loved this place, right in the Spanish Quarter with all the colour that comes with that. I booked a top floor room with roof terrace and it was really worth it. Sunny morning spent sunbathing after breakfast in my little private courtyard listening to music before heading out to explore. Good comfortable bed, nice combination of old style and new in the rooms plus a small bath which was a godsend after a week of sightseeing and walking elsewhere. A much appreciate hot bubble bath was had! We got the train here from Sorrento so came in to Naples Centrale then got Metro line 1 to Toledo and then 5 minute walk, easy once we’d navigated the alleys of the old quarter. We also went to see Napoli play at the Diego Maradona Stadium which, again, was easy to get to from here. The staff were very helpful with all of our enquiries and I would definitely stay here again if I could get a roof terrace room. Breakfast was ok, I ordered vegetables and tomatoes which I wouldn’t again only due to the tomatoes being cold (assumed warm) and the vegetables were white beans but that was my mistake, the scrambled eggs were great though. And ask for butter if you’re eating in your room, small thing but I like butter on my bread. You can eat in the breakfast room too but we chose not to. All in all a lovely place to experience Naples and near lots of places of interest. I will stay again as I still need to visit Naples Underground, Herculaneum and Vesuvius! A weekend in Naples is not enough.

Staff was very kind, accommodating. I was there during winter season, I am sure this is an even better stay during Summer or Spring.

Very nice hotel, great price and friendly staff. However, area around was really not nice. No restaurant per say and looks like an industrial area. The metro is a few minutes walk away though. It will take you to downtown area. The taxi is around 20 Euro to the airport.

Only stayed one night, but staff was very friendly and helpful. Great location to walk to city center and shop/eat/play.

Very nice family-owned hotel 5 min from the train station. Lots of restaurants nearby, and the airport bus stops 7min away. Comfy room, with a fridge and air con. The owners are super nice and breakfast is a small buffet, but very tasty. The price is great. The surroundings are a bit alarming, but that’s south of Italy for you, don’t worry that it looks a bit derelict - it’s nice and safe there.
