Room cost was around £190 for a double. Paaid on arrival. Check-in was swift - no queue. Room was fine - a double. We didn't eat at the Runway restaurant but we did use the lobby bar again. "Plus points were a large clean room, a few minutes walk to the airport, and the restaurant was a nice environment with very good food (much better than the last airport hotel we stayed in). We heard a lot of noise from the corridor during the night, so not as soundproofed from that side as it could have been. Reception staff sent us on a very long way round to our room, yet there was a much quicker way. We’d stay here again if flying from East Midlands. "

Also double charged my account for our food and drink, removed eventually. But still was a live charge on my credit card for a week."

"The people were friendly, the food was very good, plenty of free parking. The hotel itself was fine, although our room in the courtyard was rather tired and could do with a makeover and it was impossible to get WiFi in that room. Very conveniently situated for Donington Park race circuit."
