"The room we stayed in was excellent more like a suite than bedroom. Really soacious with sofa and easy chairs as well as a window seat. There was a Kingsize bed, mattress a little too firm for our liking. Two tvs one at each end of the room. The bathroom was luxurious and large. We had breakfast each day at the hotel Nd there was a good choice. Staff were friendly and helpful. The daily housekeeping was faultless. Would definitely stay here again."

"We stayed for 6 days over Easter. The hotel is surrounded by countryside and a few buildings nearby yet is close to Whitehaven. The views are lovely - out to sea and across to Scotland. We were made to feel very welcome and the staff were always very friendly. We ate in the hotel most nights, enjoying the well-presented tasty food. My food intolerances were well taken care of. The Rosehill Theatre is not far away and we enjoyed our visit there. The garden is going to be landscaped so wasn't very...
