Booked a standard double room. Can't fault the room or the service, apart from the extractor fan that ddn't stop till 23:30 at night and came back on at 4pm. Weather was nice so kept the window open, bearly slept when the extractor was on.

Great looking place, good room, good food, good people... BUT the mattress was a shocker. Collapsed in the middle Used & abused and shouldve been replaced a long time ago, but covered up with a big thick duvet. The 2nd mattress wasn't much better. Shocking that they expect customers should accept this (Tried to upload a pic...)

Noisy radiator, but we just turned the heating off Service slow in restaurant but they were very busy Food was delicious Queue at bar in wedding but extra barman appeared and queue was gone Lovely hotel Excellent food

Wonderful stay.

Beautiful scenery and serene environment for a stay. We stayed in the Cygnet suite and the view in the morning was breathtaking. Both my wife and child enjoyed themselves very much. Breakfast was great too. Hope to visit again!

Macs’ Autumn break

Lovely situation. Staff very efficient, friendly and helpful. Any food we chose was very good and well presented. Plenty of variety on the menu. Although not requested we had a room with disability aids. In the bathroom , there was a problem when shower was used....water flowed towards toilet and sink as the drain did not cope. The air con was inefficient but an electric fan was provided. The balcony was a pleasant feature but no partitions between rooms and the general public appeared to be able to wander at will, past the room. Because there was no screen curtain, there was no privacy. Overall, however, we were very happy with our visit and we shall go back but maybe not to the same room !
