10/10 Excellent

"Nice large room with sitting areas and large windows. Updated bathroom. with separate shower and tub. Beautiful views of the River Ness. Great outdoor beer garden/brewery and distillery on site. Beer garden was especially nice to hang out after dinner. Restaurant on-site was very good. Breakfast was the typical full English breakfast. Had dinner there twice and both times the food and service were excellent. Easy walking distance to town. Desk staff were very helpful."

"When we arrived I told the reception desk that we would like to have the room made up daily. The manager at that time was on a ladder changing some light bulbs. When we got to the room the asset was locked and we could not use it. Went back down to the front desk to ask for help. The receptionist came up about 10 mins later to tell me she didn’t know what to do and would put in a claim to get it repaired. I asked my son whose room was across the hall if his worked. He said no. The next morning about 6:15am the fire alarm went off. We took the stairs to the main floor and asked what happened. They told us that there was some equipment that had not been cleaned and it went off while breakfast was being cooked. Went to get in the shower only to find out the dispenser on the wall was empty. Reported this to the front desk and left for the day. When we returned after dinner our room had not been made up. I went down to let the receptionist know it had not been done. There is no AC in this hotel and the rooms are extremely stuffy. We asked the front desk for fans and explained that in our sons room a pidgeon had tried to get in the window. The receptionist implied that we just had bad karma. We were here for four nights and were not able to get more than 5 hours of sleep each night because with the windows open and the fan going there was just too much noise from the street to fall asleep until the street noise quieted down. I would not recommend this hotel."

"Located just off the A9 and much used by business people and contractors. It is a bus trip into town £2 each way, with stops outside and frequent service. Our 3rd floor room was ideal for our 3 night stay and a decent lift to boot. Overlooked the car park and adjacent to the passing A9, yet no noise. Its nice to have a hotel with plug sockets either side of the bed to recharge phones through the night, of the 4 places we stayed at 2 did and 2 did not. Food and beverage. It is so nice that the hotel employs local staff who get to know their customers over the stay, 10/10 for young Amy. Not many draught beer, my preference, but a suitable bottle was available. Please pour it for your guests, it's that little bit extra. Menu had good choices, quality enough to make us eat in each night. Breakfast, very good range of hot & cold plus cereals, fruit could possibly have more variety. Last point, it's a Scottish hotel and no Haggis! Swimming pool is good with steam room Sauna and spa pool. Unfortunately the spa pool was out of action. Some local people use the facilities and swimming lessons for children as well. Stayed at Ft William many times and visited Inverness on day trips, now it is likely to be the other way around. This was our first Leonardo stay and the impression was so good there will be more."

"We enjoyed our stay. We took the bus into and back from the downtown part of Inverness easily. The hotel isn't the newest, but the bed was more comfortable than some other hotels we stayed in during our trip to According. The staff were friendly and helpful. My guy really loved the haddock at the restaurant, and the free breakfast was nice. It was a bit hot during our stay (very uncommon), so while a fan would have been nice to cool is down at night, we got by with an open window. We'd stay here again."

"This VRBO is in a new town we weren't sure what to expect- the town was lovely but the accommodation exceeding any expectations that we had. Clean and so tastefully decorated.We had a little trouble finding it with our GPS but we called Al lister and he directed us.We had trouble with the tv, so the only recommendation we have is to have some helpful hints for the tv,This truly was a memorable spot to stay.... we are still talking about the cleanliness. Thanks for making our stay in the Inverness area memorable."

"No air conditioning. Bed was very, very uncomfortable. Only one flat pillow per person. Only one towel in room for three people. Fold out as second bed was horrible as well. Carpet was dirty. This room should have cost $100 at most. It does not reflect the pics. Would not stay there again. Over $300 for one night and it’s a motel at best"

"We loved the location being so near the Culloden battlefield and Clava Cairns. Additionally, Inverness was a short drive with easy access. The property was lovely and we took advantage of walking the gardens. The library and drawing rooms were perfect to enjoy a cocktail and the breakfast and dinner were terrific. Lastly, the staff were personable and helpful."
