"Hotel Eremo is a former monastery. You are greeted immediately by name by the friendly staff. The property is serene, dining is available outside in a courtyard, at the pool, in your room. There is an amazing breakfast buffet. There is a spa or cooking classes by the chef which need to be reserved in advance. It is necessary to have a car to visit the beach or surrounding towns. "Nice location in the old town of Ragusa which is where you want to be - so could walk to all the highlights easily from here. The rooms are split out onto several floors so be prepared for lots of step. The room was nice but very dark so was happy there was access to a beautiful garden where you could sit and enjoy a drink. There was free parking and plenty of spaces at the top of the hill so dump the luggage at the entrance and then keep driving up."

"The hotel is an experience, beautiful view. However when remember booking the room with two beds, the hotel at check in, the room I booked is the king size bed. Also a bottle of wine was checked with the room booking, we found out at check out that it is not. The money is not the issue, but it is confusing/embarrasing to find out that it is not complimentary, the reception was helpful, apply $10 spa fee that we did not use and we pay 2 Euro to settled our hotel bill."
