"The house was beautiful with great views and we loved the location. However, we were very disturbed by the conditions of the chicken coop on the property. There was a dead hen and the two living chickens did not have food in their bowls and were out of water with their water source disconnected. Luckily we were able to feed them as there was chicken feed and water on the property. One of the rooms had dirty sheets with hair and dead bugs on them and the hot tub heating took 8 hours to warm up....

"I love this place so much the desk lady Patricia when I checked in was so sweet and when she found out I was staying alone she put me in one of the indoor bedrooms which was so sweet. They have lots of fun things to do during your stay in the town of San Luis Obispo is so cute. Highly recommend and can’t wait to stay again in the future"

"This is a lovely motel. Loved parking right next to the room. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Next stay, I will request the 2nd floor as you really need to leave the windows open and being on the first floor means you are open to the parking lot and anyone walking by. The ocean is steps away and even though the fires were burning in Big Sur, the ocean breeze carried the smoke away."

"Great staff. Nice room. Great location. Nice comfortable lobby that is actually nice to relax in. The hotel is a little dated but in a nice way. It has a comfortable "throwback" feel. The front desk person say me looking through restaurant menus and unprompted am offers to help and made a great suggestion. I had a better experience here than at hotels that were far more expensive."
