"This is a good looking hotel, appropriate to its Pacific coastal location. Our room was spacious, comfortable and well appointed. The hotel seems generally quiet. Staff were very friendly. The TV channels are difficult to locate - even the guy at Reception seemed unable to find CNN - except by luck. Breakfast is limited to muffins and a plentiful supply of fresh fruit. They would benefit from a faster system of replenishing coffee and hot water - it took an age. But generally, an excellent place to stay."

"We always stay in the oceanfront rooms. There are very few places on the CA coast with rooms with balconies situated so near to the crashing waves. Although we feel that the rooms could use some upgrading, we also know that if they do ever upgrade, we probably won't be able to afford to stay here--LOL! So we'll continue to enjoy the charm of the outdated rooms that offer unobstructed and private ocean views. The rooms are always clean which is the most important factor. Love hiking in the area and convenience to Cambria for meals."

"Great property and nice staff. Overall, really fantastic amenities but there is only one elevator which is extremely inconvenient! They offer complimentary happy hour drink tickets and a wonderful hot breakfast with a nice variety of food. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. I really love this hotel! "
