10/10 Excellent
"We were there on Thanksgiving. This was a really cozy place! It’s full of history and atmospheric details. A little bit cold in the bathroom but overall enough heating in other rooms. The house is located somewhere at the height level of 4000 feet, so be prepared to drive uphills about 40-60 minutes. Sequoia National Park is 30 minutes if driving and the way is very winding"

"Great setting in the woods. Excellent communication. Lots of wildlife! A family of deer and turkeys. Composting toilet was clean and worked perfectly. I really liked that the seat was heated which was nice and warm. Look forward to staying again! "
Ponderosa Cabin ~ rustic comfort + WiFi by Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Parks
10/10 Excellent
"The Ponderosa Cabin was exactly what we hoped for and more. The house was very clean and well-kept. I booked this cabin because the photos showed beautiful trees right outside the windows, and it did not disappoint: the scenery was stunning. We even saw four deer right outside the cabin! Our host was incredibly attentive, checking in with us from the moment we made the reservation until after we checked out. Their communication made the whole stay feel smooth and cared for. Make sure to carefully read the instructions and important information that is sent. Highly recommend this cabin for a peaceful, scenic getaway."
