"This hotel was a newer national park lodge and a welcome improvement over some others we have stayed in. Room was spacious, large bathroom vanity, key cards (not physical keys). All the comforts you expect in a modern hotel. Restaurant on site was also very good and we thought reasonably priced given how remote it is. We will absolutely stay here again."
"It’s a neat little cabin tucked away in a peaceful location, if you don’t mind the twisty drive to get there. We didn’t. It’s cozy and spacious and had basic equipment in the kitchen that I needed to make quick meals after our long days exploring Sequioa and Kings Canyon. The beds are also remarkably comfortable. We are mattress snobs and this cabin’s beds made us sleep like babies. The shower stall though, needs a major fix. The seal around the shower door is falling out and it does not close properly, making water seep out whenever we use it. But overall we had a very good stay. It’s a place we wouldn’t mind staying at for several days for a quiet getaway. Just make sure to stock up on supplies and gas. No groceries or gas stations close by."
"We booked this property after a horrible experience at another place and we absolutely loved it. It was beautiful and so picturesque, clean, stunning, and just wonderful. The host was very kind and friendly, & the restaurant had the most delicious food. We were very pleased with it. The only downside is that the road up there is very long and windy and lots of pot holes. Some areas are paved and others are not. It took us 1.5 hours to get there from Hwy 198. We were very nervous driving on it, but once we got to Silver City, everything was fantastic and some of the most pristine and beautiful scenery I've ever seen, especiallyif you go the end of the road past Silver City to the valley. It looks like Switzerland!"
