The River Inn

The River Inn

8/10 Good
"We were able to stay in the cabin next to the office. It would be an ideal place for a family to stay. It is like a self-contained living space with full kitchen. Located close to the Sequoia National Park Foothills entrance and very convenient."

"I’m disabled and when I arrived at the hotel, my room was on the second floor, but they accommodated me by putting me on the first floor and some other helpful situations. I was very grateful."

Silver City Mountain Resort

Silver City Mountain Resort

8/10 Good
"The property is on the National park. The drive to the resort will take you through some narrow winding roads and it will take approximately an hour and a half to make it up there (approximately 23-25 miles). In some places, it’s hard for two cars to get by. There was road construction going on, they closed the road down, so we had to schedule accordingly. Once you get up there you may not want to go back down to retrieve groceries, food, etc. No gas station, so gas up beforehand. Nice quiet resort, WiFi available, no tvs."

8/10 Good
"First, the drive to the house from Kings Canyon was really fun — a tight, two-lane, winding blacktop road. The house is an older double-wide in a sleepy rural area. You unlock a gate for access, and it’s not impressive on sight. But inside, a lot of renovations have been done. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable and the sheets were crisp and clean, with fancy alarm clocks and laminate floors. Climate control was tricky. Living room was well sized but a little impractical as a large blower brought air straight through the couch. Kitchen seating was ample and all the necessities were there. Bathrooms were clean and functional. Had a great sleep. Communication was fast and there were no unnecessary or silly rules. All in all, a nice little find for national park travelers. Recommend."
