"Excellent service from start to finish! Although the resort is a bit outdated, it is extremely well-maintained, clean, and has a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, helpful, and attentive, which truly made my stay special. The entertainment was also fantastic.
The food exceeded my expectations. The Japanese restaurant was delicious, and the sushi was surprisingly good for an all-inclusive resort. I loved the food truck for quick bites, and being able to order food, including enchiladas, right at the Lazy River was such a nice touch. The french fries were excellent, and the room service was also impressive. The buffalo and barbecue chicken wings from room service were so good that I ordered them more than once!
The drinks deserve their own shout-out. This is not your typical all-inclusive with bottom-shelf liquor. The resort has a martini bar, excellent espresso martinis, great dirty martinis, and cocktails that tasted like they were made with quality, medium- to top-shelf liquor. As someone who enjoys Baileys and appreciates a good drink, I was genuinely impressed.
My only critiques are that the desserts were a bit underwhelming and the resort could use more maps or signage to help guests navigate the property. There are also quite a few local animals roaming around, including adorable coati-like creatures, but that’s simply part of the natural environment.
