"The staff was very nice. Wasn't crazy about the room's floor plan. The placement of the desk doesn't make sense. I know it is to divide the room but the pole at the end of the desk cuts off the view of the TV and the placement of the couch is also odd. Other than the floor plan, my stay was good."

"The hotel is in a downtown location and you have to pay nightly for parking in their gated lot. There are bars and some restaurants within walking distance, but I would not consider them family friendly. The room was clean, but there were things that I personally missed, like a magnifying mirror, a removable shower head and a safe to secure some items. The staff was very friendly and the hotel was secure in that you had to have your key card to get in the building and up the elevators. "

"We had to pay for parking but the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean and inviting. We slept very well and ate a wonderful breakfast the next morning. It was the best stay we've ever had at a hotel. "

"Room pillows on sofa were disgustingly nasty. The sheets were cheap and kept coming off of the bed. Bathrooms were clean and room was clean, but windiws tint was peeling so the view was not good. Coffee pot was really dirty, I have to clean and sanatize. Quite disappointed fir a $300+ night hotel room in Birmingham, Al. The food in the restaurants was great. Breakfast in the main restaurant was fabulous. Staff were very nice. I was not impressed, the Fairmount Marriott would have been a better choice with an exec suite if I only knew how small and the condition. Old was expected upscalesd rooms were expected."
