"The location was ideal for walking out to the nearby outdoor shopping strip. Comfortable beds and nice central dining area. Good food and helpful staff."

"The property and room was very clean and well kept. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel provides a free light dinner buffet and a coupon upon arrival for two free drinks (wine or cocktail) per each nights stay. My room was a spacious two room suite, which was great. This hotel provides other amenities such as a pool, exercise room, cocktail lounge, and is pet friendly. Another nice touch is free freshly popped popcorn every evening. It's also located close to shopping, dining and entertainment. A great value!"
English Inn of Charlottesville

"We picked this hotel because of the English theme. We enjoyed the cookies and tea in the afternoon when we arrived. In the morning we ate the complimentary breakfast. It was pretty standard for a free hotel buffet: english sausages, scrambled eggs, potatoes, pancakes, muffins, biscuits and gravy, yogurt, juice and fruit and it was good quality. The hotel is walking distance to the John Paul Jones Concert Venue which was also why we picked it. We would stay here again and we recommend this hotel."

"Everything was great. Clean, comfortable, and friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was good with eggs (fried and scrambled), sausage (links and patties), bagels and toast, cereals, juice, etc. Had an indoor heated pool and hot tub were clean and maintained. Room was great. Very clean and comfortable. Highly recommended."

"We stayed here with our dog for a show at the Allianz Amphitheater. The room was huge and at the end of a hallway. The property is a little old but the bathroom was nice and the bed was comfortable. Only real downside is that they are tearing down the building next store and work started at 7am. It was definitely not something you could sleep through. But otherwise, I’d absolutely stay here again! Just keep in mind also that the only parking is valet!"
