"Step back in time in this little village near the coast. Each little apartment has a living space, bathroom and a well equipped kitchen which includes microwave oven, stove and Smeg espresso machine on the main floor with winding steps up to a loft with a comfortable bed. The restaurant has a great chef with lots of homemade Portuguese dishes. We highly recommend this place.

"This is a charming older hotel and retains a sense of class. The staff is really amazing and they make you feel very special. Don’t expect pillow top beds or rain fall shower heads - it’s definitely an older property but it has good sized, clean rooms with large closets. There’s a lovely roof top sitting area with an amazing view. It’s tricky to get to with a car - no parking or even a pull out for checking in - so if you really need a car to be close to you this isn’t your place - but otherwise this hotel is quaint and in an excellent location. "I stayed here for 6 nights in a standard villa and it was absolutely beautiful. Staff was extremely friendly everywhere we went around the resort. They have a wonderful shuttle system which takes you to a beautiful beach (Praia de Luz) and Old town Lagos. Extremely convenient and comfortable ride. The villas were spacious and wonderfully decorated. I will stay here again next time I go to Lagos. "
