"It was short, but pleasant stay. Dog friendly hotel, nice and pretty big room, very kind staff. We can only recommended this hotel situated in the centre of the town.

"I had a lovely stay at the hotel, the room was very clean and cosy. The staff were all super friendly, the food was delicious and the general atmosphere was lovely!"
"We had an outstanding 1 night in the Le Tillau hotel; wonderful hotel - great service and fantastic food and wines; thank you very for the warm hospitality, we will come back again and will recommend your hotel to friends as well."
"Staff were very kind and helpful. The suite was a little dated but clean. The location was perfect , right by the old town shopping street lines with restaurants, 10min walk from train station and 3 minutes from cathedral. The only downside was not having working elevator to carry suitcases through winding stairs to and from 4th floor room. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel, the room was nice and clean, the bed was good and the shower was excellent. We stayed during the wine festival and the hotel is in the best spot if you like to be where the party is. The music is loud and plays until 3am so if you are not partying don’t expect to get any sleep before then. There is no fridge in the room but you can get one for 5 francs or you can store items for free in their fridge. "
"Nice hotel next to the lake. Convinient Public parking one block away. Easy walk into town center for dining options. Close to the Coop supermarket/mall that has great food court. "
"Great price for the location in a nice building with a spacious, clean room and excellent customer service. They sent me a form to fill out for free public transportation before my arrival, so an option to use to reach the hotel. (I forgot and ended up walking the km, which is a bit hilly, so I wouldn't suggest it if you have a heavy load.)I like the self-service check-in machine, but I wish the time-consuming info like address and passport details could've been filled ahead of time online (maybe they have this option, but I don't recall receiving the info) because I was so hot in the hallway filling this out. Then the machine failed on me, but the staff responded quickly. It probably took about 15 minutes before I could get into my room. The lift was broken at the time, but the staff member who helped me with the key card carried my heavy luggage up two flights.
The room is pleasant, spacious, with a nice street view. The kitchenette is compact, but utensils like a wine and a can opener were there, even a small dishwasher. No salt or pepper. The rubbish bin lid was broken off. The pillows were big but rather lumpy, and there was a tear in the duvet cover. I woke up itching with a few rashes, but it could be an allergic reaction to something else(?). This part is a bit concerning, but overall, I'd stay again if that was the result of something other than what is in the bed."
"Hotel is situated close to the old town center, on the street going to train station, however well isolated from street noise; the room we rented was huge , the largest we rented in our vacation in Switzerland , with plenty of storage, two desks with chairs; bed was also big and comfortable; even the bathroom had plenty of storage ; room had also an extra space a closed balcony with a table and two chairs . From our room we could not see the lake Geneve but the receptionist recommended a lounge area with a terrace from where we took pictures of the lake ; that area has sofas , coffee tables and chairs to accommodate even a big group of people .
Staff was friendly and gave us the possibility to log an to an application for free public transportation and a lot of promotions to different historical places , museums and attractions; we took advantage and went on a two hour cruise on the lake . Neuchatel is beautiful, full of charm and we regret not having booked more days at this hotel and this town "
