Please note: There are 14 steps, slopes and an unfenced pond in the garden.. Cenwulf Cottage is a delightful property located in the centre of Winchcombe. This terraced property boasts outstanding views from the garden that look over the countryside and hill surrounding the town. With a private seating area at the top of the garden, this is the perfect space for enjoying a morning coffee or putting your feet up after a day’s walking. At the bottom of the garden is a small unfenced pond.

You enter the property straight into the living/dining room, fitted with a great feature wood burner, it makes for a cosy and warm space for those quiet nights in. Continuing through the property you will find a contemporary, well-equipped kitchen which leads out into the garden and is the perfect place for the designated chef to rustle up some good food. Within walking distance of the cottage are two small supermarkets, several pubs, restaurants and a fish n’ chip shop, go on, treat yourself! Stroll through the historic market town, walk to the famous Sudeley Castle with its beautiful gardens, now one of the premier tourist attractions in the north Cotswolds, or ramble in rolling hills, including the Cotswold Way. The towns of Broadway, Moreton-in-Marsh, Stow-on-the-Wold and Chipping Campden are within easy reach, while Regency Cheltenham is just 8 miles away. The famous racecourse at Prestbury Park is a big attraction for National Hunt fans, and the Prescott Speed Hill Climb holds motoring events at various times throughout the year. Shop 100 yards, pub and restaurant 500 yards.

Absolutely beautiful cottage in the perfect location.

Absolutely beautiful cottage in the perfect location. Lovely and clean inside, the garden summerhouse is an absolute gem with gorgeous views over the countryside. We were lucky with beautiful weather for the bank holiday weekend and spent more time in the summerhouse than the cottage! Loads of great walks on the doorstep, recommend The Lion for drinks/food and the White Hart too.
