Ford Bank Cottage is gorgeous. Extremely comfortable and with everything we needed, it was a home-from-home. Excellent location too, with a great pub just a few minute’s walk away. We would be very happy to come back.

Beautiful property in a lovely spot
We enjoyed a lovely weekend stay at Ford Bank Cottage. The house was lovely, well equipped and had a lovely feel about it.
The property managers were very good at customer service and responded to us very quickly when we asked questions during our stay.
Would love to return for a bit longer next time!

A wonderful holiday cottage
We stayed at Ford Bank Cottage to celebrate my Mum's 70th. There were 5 adults, a 2 year old and 3 dogs. The house was a perfect size for our party. The log burner in the living room made for cosy winter evenings and the house was really nicely laid out, with two ensuite bedrooms and a lovely downstairs shower room.
We visited some of the surrounding villages for walks and had a walk from the cottage around the gallops. It really was an excellent location and somewhere we would love to.go back to.
I would absolutely recommend this property.

Great location and beautiful house but a problem with the driveway
We had a lovely stay although some difficulties in finding the place as Google map didn’t have the right location. The cottage had everything we needed and we did make a few delicious meals with the some of the local produce we bought in farm shops. The location was perfect was visiting all the beautiful villages in Cotswold. Our biggest problem was the parking as our mini got stuck in the gravel driveway so unless you have a 4x4… The driveway leading to the steps was also a little slippery due to the gravels especially when it was wet.

Spring bresk
The cottage was beautiful and comfortable and ideally situated to reach all the beautiful places in the Cotswolds. We had a lovely time staying with friends for 4 days.
Just a couple of things the heating and water was not working properly but the day we left it looked like there was a plumber on site so hopefully resolved . The other thing was that the dog poo bin and the recycling had not been emptied for a long time by the looks of things which I presume is the fault of the cleaning team so perhaps that could be looked into as it meant we did not recycle.
I am only putting this on the review so it gets sorted but we loved the cottage and had a very enjoyable stay

Overall a lovely cottage
The cottage is very beautiful and has been styled perfectly. The positives of the cottage were its location. The layout was very comfortable and very clean. Plenty of room for our family to stay for a weekend. The negatives were that the heating was unreliable (which wasn’t ideal when travelling with a young baby), the temperature would drop dramatically as times and the only solution was to reboot the boiler (not ideal at 2am!) the oven initially took quite some time to heat up, so when trying to cook dinner on our first night caused unnecessary delay. There are a lot of steps up to the cottage which if travelling with the elderly could cause another issue.
Despite these concerns the manager who was on call for our stay was very helpful and responsive. The cottage really is beautiful and the fireplace was a real highlight. If the heating & oven were looked into i would be able to give a 5star review.

Summer holiday in beautiful Cotswolds
We stayed at Ford Bank Cottage in early August and absolutely loved it. A beautiful place to stay – stylishly decorated and very well equipped. It’s only a couple of minutes’ walk to the local pub, which we also highly recommend – 5-star food and excellent service. Would definitely return

A PERFECT stay to help us make our way through the Cotswolds
We really enjoyed on stay at Ford Bank Cottage and found it most suitable for our week's visit. Clearly the cottage is a "home" that is shared graciously by the owners with all the touches needed for guests. The location was a wonderful springboard for daily activities all throughout the Cotswolds, and having a "home base" that welcomed us back every day put us at ease for our stay. Rooms, beds, living areas, showers, outdoor sitting areas are all beautifully maintained and comfortable. The house manager was both attentive and responsive to quickly fix a hot water issue, and we had no worries during our stay. I would say we "followed the guide" left by the owners and probably went to EVERY ONE of her recommended walks, drives, and communities to visit. WE hope to be back soon and are grateful to StayCotswold Limited for helping to set this up. We would not hesitate to re-book this lovely cottage.

Lovely cottage great location
Cottage is lovely with a welcome feel to it and well placed for exploring.
However it’s heavily let down by the maintenance team, some people might regard it as looking a bit tired, little things like lamps missing light bulbs, paint work needing touching up, not emptying previous occupants recycling bins (this was resolved by email) no lights on the bottom stone stairs from the car parking and ones that are out on the top ones, there also needs to be clear instructions for the cooker as it’s an experience. We also found a smashed bottle in the grass which had just been mowed, not good if had dogs or children.
Having said all that we would stay again as the above is not the cottage’s fault.

Relaxed in the Cotswolds
We loved the cottage and it's location. The house was very clean and the decor was lovely and tasteful. We loved the kitchen. Unfortunately, most of the table lamps didn't seem to work and the lamp over the fron door didn't have a bulb in it.
We understand that England has had an exceptionally dry and hot summer, but the outside of the property really looked neglected. All the potted plants were dead and the garden plantings were messy and overgrown. The grass was dead. There were piles of brown shrub cuttings stacked that had not been removed. So being outdoors was not very appealing. The lavender borders were amazing, however!
Any complaints we had, inside and out, could be easily fixed. Just needed some TLC.
