"We had a lovely time. The whole staff, starting with Sue, who checked us in, were brilliant, the breakfast outstanding, the room clean, the view of the river and opposite shore outstanding. We plan to return."
"Very charming place. We rented the cottage, and it was great for two of us with the kids. Great people working here. The dinner at the inn was great again. We highly recommend. "
"Comfortable beds, great linens, all the extras you would expect in a better quality hotel. They even left eggs and bread for breakfast so we wouldn't need to run out on the first evening. I loved the unique decorating touches and gardens. But I needed a step-stool to unlock the patio door and could not find one. Also, please provide explanations for starting the dishwasher and washer - your American guests were not familiar with the brands and did not want to risk abusing them. And the...
"The cottage is next to the main road. No staying up late in bed in the mornings, the road noise woke us up from 7am. Quiet at night. The location is good, very central to explore Northumberland. Cottage well equipped, especially the kitchen. Communication was good with host. Good options for restaurants (3 within walking distance) and take aways, Coop and Budgens in the village. "

"A highlight of our recent trip to the UK. Seaside room in a heritage building. Beautiful rooms, but the best part were the gracious hosts. Would definitely stay there again. "
Beautiful renovated Stone Cottage with enclosed Garden and Free Wifi.
10/10 Excellent
"Communication from the very start was A1 from the owner. Detailed check in information given a week or so before our stay and very easy to follow. Cottage was perfect, clean, homely, and an ideal size for our family..Good internet, which is a must if you have teenagers, we brought our own Fire stick which fitted easily in the back of the TV, ideal for the kids, and us. Good public transport right outside the property so just need to check the bus timetables...used the bus 3 times whilst we were there which is nice if you don't want to drive. All in all I cannot fault our stay, we were warmly welcomed by the owner before and during our visit and everything was perfect for a really relaxing break. "
"Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Comfy bed, spacious room, great shower.
Food choice was good. Downside the amount of curry my wife had could of been more plentiful. My teriyaki fish needed more seasoning, I don't usually add salt or pepper to meals but in this case had to.
Saying that my 2 friends steak and linguine was apparently lovely. The full English was exceptionally good and plentiful
