Lovely atmospheric inn with amazing food. Room was beautifully decorated & cosy, great for a one or two night stay. The bathroom, shower is small & had an unpleasant odour, however this wouldn’t deter us from staying again, it is very good value for money.
Rooms attach to a very quaint and traditional country pub, which also has an excellent restaurant.
Beer garden is very nice as well. We were lucky, the sun was out a d we enjoyed the small beer garden for the afternoon
Staff are friendly welcoming and professional, and they just dont stop working!!
Really nice location with some great local walks. Chichester centre is only a 10 minute drive.
The room itself was very good, clean and modern. Barhroom was a touch on the small side, but excellent shower
The car park does get very very busy and can be a bit difficult get out if patrons park carelessly. Its all a bit tight.
Would definately recoomend for a nice quiet getaway.
A wonderful stay, very friendly welcoming staff. Clean comfortable room with a fab shower. The food in the restaurant was also excellent. Highly recommended.
The pub was lovely, the room was clean , quite small for the price but ok. Only improvement i would make is to put brighter bulbs in the bedside lights so you can read at night, they were very dim!
The staff were excellent - when we first checked in we found the room, as it had been styled in a certain way, was very dark and not what we wanted. They could not change our room on the first night as they were full but offered us a choice of rooms for the second night. They could not have been more accommodating.
The staff and service were great. The breakfast was lovely. However the rooms are very tired. The bed was way too soft, the carpet worn and the smell of backed up sewage in the room made the stay quite unpleasant. Tea and coffee making facilities were available however, the kettle was full of scale and we did not use it and saucer hadn’t been washed. Attention to detail in the room was missing. We only stayed 1 night so did not make a fuss. I wouldn’t have stayed longer. Some updating of the rooms would make this a great place to stay.
The rooms were very nice and a lovely large bed The hosts were very helpful and friendly nothing was to much trouble And they had a leaflet in the room with three different walks which we picked one out for the Sunday morning I would fully recommend this place and would be happy to return some other time Thanks to you all
