We had a wonderful week in the Plough Shed. The location is wonderful for local attractions and amazing walks. The Octagonal Walks booklet which you can purchase at the local cafe/shop offers a variety of well documented walks. The only thing we found disappointing was the amount of dog hair in the cottage, a good vacuum cleaner would have helped.

Such a cosy, clean and comfortable cottage. Owners are friendly, helpful and unobtrusive. We had a wonderful short break here -and discovered just how beautiful West Sussex is, and yet only an hour and a half from where we live! We hope to return, and also share our recommendations with family and friends. Thank you for the cakes and milk, for a welcoming cuppa! Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Ideal for what we wanted and convenient for what we wanted to do over the four days . Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We believe a door out onto the private rear garden is in the process of being built. Great! A grab handle on the bathroom wall near the toilet would help and a blind over the sky light would delay the morning sunlight. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

The Plough Shed is a lovely comfortable cottage in a great location, with welcoming hosts on hand if needed. It was very clean and well equipped. There are good walks directly from the property, a dog friendly pub and a well equipped village shop and cafe just a short walk from the cottage. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Excellent place for a break in a lovely little village with tea shop and pub. Welcomed on arrival and then left to enjoy the holiday. One little piece of advice...make sure the skylight in the bedroom is shut tight if you don't want to be woken at 4.00 am by the cockerel at the back! (Shouldn't be a problem in the winter). I hasten to add that this bird does not belong to the owner and it didn't spoil my holiday. Steve (solo).
