"The breakfast/gathering area smelled and the floor could use a good cleaning. The food was repetitive and not that great. The only item I looked forward to was the fresh fruit. My room smelled musty and damp. The room was run down, bed was uncomfortable. We watched the pool staff and were impressed with the care given to the pool. Maybe I missed it, but the resort fee was steep and came as a surprise. Not sure what $376 covered. Staff was exceptionally kind and pleasant in the dining area, valet service and bell hop. Front desk staff upon arrival did little to make one feel welcome. Overall, I would not recommend a stay at this Embassy Suites."

"Love the location, they have food restaurants walking distance, zoo is 5-19 minutes walking, 5 min to the beach, abc store a block away, food trucks all around and even has a rental car inside the resort and it has a free parking you get your car in the morning and at the end of the day they take it and park it for you so you don’t have to pay parking. Food was great staff super nice."

"There is not hot tub; just COLD JACUZZI I was really disapointed this is my first time in Hawaii and their elevator was ALSO broken; we had to wait over 10 minutes to go up or down. The people giving information on the activities all give you different prices for the same activity; you need to make sure all prices are accurate. Some of the staff don't even answer a simple hi "aloha". They give you the same breakfast evey day no variety. It was boring."

OUTRIGGER Waikiki Paradise Hotel

"The sink is tiny it’s too small even for a child. The shower is tiny too there’s no room to bend down. The light from the door to the hallway was way too bright keeping me up all night I had to use a freaking EYEMASK to sleep! Paradise hotel? More like motel. The crack of the door was way too big the light was unbearable. Then the AC. It definitely did not adjust to the temperature it was set to. I had trouble staying asleep due to the warmth of the room. It was not getting cooler even when adjusting it. Not a good experience. Overall 2 nights of that sucked. Not good sleep quality and I had to literally stuff a towel beneath the doorframe to block some of the light. It still shine through the rest of the doorframe though. If I was here on vacation I would not have thought it as a vacation to be honest."
