"The property was in an excellent location. Although next door to a fish & chip shop and opposite to a pub it was remarkably quiet. Only a few minutes to the beach and high street or along the river Lim. Virbo responded immediately to any queries and the dog enjoyed his stay!"

"The only main issue was car parking, or lack of it. The hotel has no parking of its own (which we knew) and although two Council car parks within yards of the hotel, yes its free parking after 5pm (if you can get a space) but between 8am and 5 pm its chargeable, but ... maximum of three hours with no return within another three hours. And parking wardens hot on over-stayers."

"Charming little cottage just steps from the beachside attractions. The cottage's "backyard" is a creek that provides a soothing acoustical background during your stay there. All the components have been tastefully updated from its previous incarnation as a fisherman's cottage (or perhaps as a budding paleontologist's lab) so you have access to modern creature comforts, but do note that the rooms are very small and the staircase to the bedrooms are probably not suitable for guests with ambulatory challenges. But this is a glorious place to stay if you find yourself in the heart of the Jurassic Coast, which is, deservedly, a world heritage site."

"Clean, great location and as advertised. Comfy beds, nice furniture and good shower. One free car parking space at a car park 5 min walk away, the car park is otherwise very expensive. There was a fan thank goodness"

"Beautiful place, very convenient to shops, pubs & beach. Lovely hot tub with plenty of wood supplied. Had fab stay only negative is the bed was quite uncomfortable & noisy when you moved also bedding was very warm and sweaty as think cotton sheets are better & pillows uncomfortable for husband. All said it is very high quality standard with everything you need for short break."

"The property is true to the description and other reviews. Location fantastic, parking convenient. Its cosy, nicely done and comfortable on the whole. Kitchen table is small and really only suitable for 4. Tiny fridge and half size dishwasher but not a problem for a few days. Plenty of hot water, good shower and beds Ok. Host responsive."
