The Hoxton, Florence

"We stayed at the Hoxton before we headed out to Tuscany for our wedding weekend. The staff was very accommodating and helpful, and the property itself was beautiful with a great location, it was a little bit more on the outskirts of the city center, which we are used to staying in when we travel to Florence, but we liked how quiet and secluded it was and the design of the property was really well done. We enjoyed the coffee bar downstairs and the Photo Booth in the lobby and the outdoor courtyard/bar area was a great meeting point for us and friends who were getting into town for wedding festivities. We would recommend staying at the Hoxton and look forward to future stays in other cities and hopefully Florence again."

"The place was very clean, customer service was excellent, especially Caro who checked us in. We felt very safe and site is accessible to city centre. However, there are quite a number of areas to improve on: no chairs, or at minimum, stools in rooms/ glamptents, no tables, more hangers, basic toiletries like hand towels or hand soap. No space in washroom to put your toiletries. Laundry area is clean but very few dryers for the number of people who are in the site. There were I think only 5, the 6th one was out of service. Only a small table ti fold laundry, seemed like an afterthought to put in a small table. When we did our laundry, 2 people had left their dried laundry in 4 machines, 1 was being used. We were left with no machines and were told at reception that machines automatically shut off at 11. It was 1030 and wondering if we’d be able to make it in time."

"Beautiful hotel and nice quiet neighborhood. Close to nice restaurants and gelato although a bit far of a walk to the main city center. The bus or taxi may have been easier but we ended up walking everywhere! Made up for the amount of food we consumed while in Florence I suppose. Breakfast buffet was a nice start to the day!"

"We had a great stay here,It is a beautiful setting, very clean room and comfy beds and great showers with supplies provided. The front desk staff Neddie was so great and helpful! We really appreciated his warm and helpful welcome. we were able to take free shuttle to Florence, but no availability for our return, Our taxi was 28 euro from city center. So be sure to reserve early both ways, van has limited spaces. Fabulous breakfast with a gorgeous view. The free parking was easy and so convenient and appreciated. Highly recommend this hotel."

"Spotless bathroom- absolutely immaculate, no idea how it was so smear free. Beautiful old characterful property. Think our room was the best to be fair. Would def return, loved the area and everything about it. Wonderful bar downstairs for breakfast."
