Swans Rest Lakeside Retreat with Kayaks & Hot Tub

𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆:

Swans’ Rest pairs panoramic lake views from its raised four-poster principal bedroom with calm, understated interiors and open-plan living. Quiet, comfortable corners throughout, a full kitchen and lakeside decking with hot tub make this the perfect place to slow down, while tennis courts, games rooms and the lake itself are all right at your door.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲:

Swans’ Rest sleeps up to seven guests across three bedrooms, including a principal bedroom with a four-poster king-size bed and en-suite, a double bedroom, and a bunk room with a double bed below and a single above. There’s also a family bathroom and a downstairs toilet.

The open-plan kitchen and lounge space is designed for easy group stays, with everything you need for relaxed meals and time together. Outside, the enclosed wraparound decking looks out over the lake and features a private hot tub, outdoor dining area, BBQ and gated access down to the water. A kayak is included for gentle paddles on the lake.

𝗚𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀:

You’ll have full use of the house, the enclosed wraparound decking, the outdoor dining area and the BBQ. The decking has direct access to the lake, and private parking is right outside the property. You’ll also have access to shared facilities across the estate, including tennis courts, games room, playgrounds and fishing lakes.

Check in from 4PM and check out by 10AM.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗱:

Set within the beautiful Cotswold Lakes, you’re surrounded by over 180 lakes, woodland trails and quiet village lanes. The landscape feels open, green and peaceful in every direction. It's the perfect space to be active and explore, ideal for cycling, paddle-boarding, or just walking and enjoying the abundant wildlife and fresh air.

South Cerney is only a few minutes away and is one of the area’s most established villages. Think traditional stone cottages, small, friendly shops, lovely pubs and delightful cafés. Tree-lined lanes and village greens all lead directly towards scenic lakeside routes, so nature’s nearby even when you’re shopping.

Cirencester is about 10-15 minutes by car and offers boutique shopping, restaurants, markets, and a rich sense of history. Kemble Station is also close, with direct trains into London, making this spot practical for quick weekend visits as well as longer stays.

𝗢𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲:

The house is pet friendly. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome (£35 per dog). A travel cot and high chair are provided. Paddleboard hire is available on request, and decoration services can be arranged for special occasions.

Quiet hours run from 10:30PM to 8AM, and we ask guests to respect the peaceful setting: No parties, and no smoking indoors.
