"We had another lovely stay at the Lower Mill estate. Kids enjoyed the watersports, bike rentals, swimming and tennis and the independence of having it all within easy access. The cottage was a good space for the 2 families - 2 mums, 4 kids with a well stocked kitchen. It was a little dusty as nobody had stayed for awhile, which did also mean a lot of quite large spiders. Probably inevitable as you are so near the water but they were some of the biggest I have ever seen or had to deal with!"

"We had a such a lovely stay, nice and relaxed, hosts were very welcoming. The cottage had everything we needed. The bonus was the bath. We will definitely come back again."

"Our Accomodation met all our needs. The kitchen was a little small but adequate. We loved being able to paddle board from the rear of our Accomodation. We did get stuck in the reeds though. Perhaps they need a little trim. The outdoor pool was heated so the kids were happy to splash around before dinner. We didn’t use the Spa. We did a couple of walks around the village and a little bit of nature spotting. I think it would be a good idea to create a larger adventure play area for the 10+...

"Lower Mill Estate has a wonderful network of paths and trails around some of the most beautiful lakes in the Cotswolds. Having now stayed here for nearly two months between sellling and buying a new property I know most of the area really well. It is wonderful to see many different species of birds and water fowl and to know about the beaver project - although sadly I never actually saw a beaver. The Ballyhoo also provided much needed coffee on occasions and was always welcoming."

The position of the property was perfect, overlooking the lake at the back and overlooking the park/tennis courts from the kitchen window which was a bonus for allowed the children to play outside not far from home. "Superb property we felt relaxed and comfortable the hot tub and sauna were a real treat and the children absolutely loved the garden and the animals. Not once did one say “I’m bored” the area is beautiful and some great pubs with lovely food also. Joe is a great host all in all perfect!"

"Brilliant few days spent right in the middle of everything that Cirencester has to offer. House 2 minutes walk from the main high street with a car park right behind (pay and display). House was clean, warm and very comfortable. Had everything needed for a weekend away with friends. Will definitely return!"

"Such wonderful surroundings with amazing walks. The house was perfect for 6 of us and the kitchen had every appliance with a huge island and dining table. The outside area was beautiful with the hot tub, gas BBQ, loungers and table and chairs. Loved watching all the Wild life and the paddle boards going by. We will definitely be back!
