"This is a HUGE home, plenty of room, massive well-equipped kitchen and endless dedicated bedroooms. We stayed during the winter, but imagine the huge yard would be fun in the summer. Great communication by host (note: a corporate host, so more regimented than typical VRBO but very communicative and helpful) -- all around easy. We had some minor quibbles - light switches are so plentiful it took a lot of trial and error, a status light on a tv in the bedroom (guessing some setting if we tried to figure it out); well-stocked keurig but probably would want a coffee pot for a larger party. Overall nice location and would make for a great compound for a very large party (sounds like this place is only expanding in size with buildout happening in the basement area). "

"Everything was just as expected, nice home, everything was clean and comfy! The only thing we had troubles with was getting there as it states its on S. Chapin rd and its E.Chapin rd which is 17 minutes away but no biggie! Thank you we would do it again! "

"Compass Retreat was the perfect location for our family weekend! We took our adult children and grandchildren for the weekend and this home had plenty of room for 10 adults and 8 children. The kitchen is a dream space for preparing meals for a crowd! The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable with some having bathrooms attached. The children's bunkrooms were a hit for the kids too. The movie screen in the Livingroom made watching vegietales or movies fun for everyone! There was supposed to be a highchair at the home but we could not find one, one quick text and the host ordered one and it arrived within an hour! There are tons of light switches around the main floor, none are labeled, so we could not control ceiling fans and the speakers in the ceiling and some lights...labeling needs to be done. The fireplace in the Livingroom is fantastic! Just be sure there is enough wood available or take your own. We had to search the property, walking through deep snow to find piles of wood, most of which was wet. But for the entire family this was voted on as one we could come back to as a great place to relax and reconnect."
