"We had a brilliant 3 nights in your cosy and wecomi g bungalow. Superbly clean and well equipped. Beds comfy and linen spotless. Ideally situated for North Devon coast. Highly recommend the Ramblers cafe near Lynton. Highest and on top of an amazing view. Would and have told friends about this lovely spot. Thank you "

"A beautiful old cottage in an amazing setting. It's rare to find a holiday cottage that still feels like a real house nowardays. This one reminded me of an estate cottage we used to live in in Fife. If you're looking for all the modern conveniences, in bland and white, you should probably look elsewhere; but if you don't mind putting up with a bath and only a basic shower for the sake of an open fire and a well equipped kitchen, a stream outside your door, and the woods just behind so you can start your days' walk without needing to drive somewhere else, book this place."

"Beautiful place to stay!Beds and bed lining perfect & so comfortable..The let down was whoever is cleaning the property is not doing a very good job, down the side of the aga cooker is disgusting and the windows need a good clean inside and out all the covers in the game’s room are very badly stained and need to be cleaned. Just a thorough deep clean would be most welcome as it’s a beautiful cottage and lovely peaceful place to stay. Upstairs was not a problem showers were great as were the towels everyone slept amazing well..Would I book again, perhaps! 7/10 "

"Disappointing stay - room was described as 'deluxe' but was on the small side and being up in the eaves of the roof meant one of us had to duck to get in and out of bed. No turn down / refresh on day 1, no waste bin, small but basic things - especially at the price paid. Staff although friendly, were difficult to find (only available via WhatsApp ??), reception never staffed. Overall a great a shame as the hotel has a beautiful setting and grounds. We wint be returning. "
