"Where to start with this beautiful house. I felt like we’d landed in a Maeve Binchy novel. It is spacious but comfortable, with lovely cosy beds, a deep clawfoot bathtub, fully equipped kitchen, every window looks out over the lake. It is secluded but within a 10 minute drive to the village. The furniture and fixtures are perfect for the house. And there are ponies waiting at the back gate. I want to live there. It could be tricky to find after dark (and it is pitch black at night), so you’ll want the first arrival to be before sundown."

"Great location, right in the town. Looking very dated and tired. Broken chairs , dangerous condition to sit on , only hot water in some of the rooms."

"The house is in a wonderful location, very convenient to town, and is a beautiful build.A few of the furnishings and kitchen items could use a little updating to better match the quality of the house. Our main concern was with the linens. They didn’t feel as fresh or neatly prepared as we would have expected. They had an odor that made us question whether they had been freshly laundered. We did reach out to the host, who was responsive and assured us that the care team had taken care of them.Overall, we enjoyed our stay and loved the location and the home itself. With a little extra attention to the linens and a few of the interior details, it could be an even better experience."
